About Mei Shih
Facing a big life change can feel overwhelming. I’m Mei (pronounced May), a family law and guardianship attorney, here to guide you through the legal process with expertise, clarity, and a supportive touch. My mission is to help you feel informed, empowered, and ready for what’s next.

Growing up as a “language broker” for my non-English-speaking parents taught me patience, empathy, and the power of clear communication—skills I now bring to every client. I simplify complex legal issues, break down jargon, and help you navigate family law with confidence.

With over 15 years of experience, I provide flexible solutions tailored to your needs, including collaborative law, litigated and non-litigated representation, and unbundled services. I offer thoughtful, practical guidance so you can make informed decisions and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Professional & Community
Engagement
I have always loved supporting our local communities by volunteering with some amazing nonprofit organizations. If you are interested in learning more, getting involved, or even becoming a sponsor, I would be happy to connect you! In the meantime, here’s a little peek at some of the things I have been up to and the organizations I am currently involved with.
